When Sherry and her husband returned to the Newburyport area, she became an avid fan of the Newburyport Chamber Music Festival. When the opportunity became available, she volunteered to be coordinator of host families and shortly thereafter was invited to join the board. Since then it has been a great pleasure to host a house music, a fund raiser, and concert musicians.
Sherry spent a thirty-year career in education during which she participated in committees both at work and in the community, but NCMF is her first board commitment.
